FLASH FORWARD
COUNTRY: GERMANY | STATUS: FORMER
Four musicians, four creative minds, four voices found their common ground in highly energetic guitar-rock with hard riffs, playful but precise, melodic vocals with polyphonic performance and lyrics that can be either romantic or adrenalizing.
FLASH FORWARD originates from the beautiful city of Wesel at the German Lower Rhine. Stefan Weigel, Florian Blaswich, Tino Wilczewski and Jakob Wolff are four musicians, four singers, four men of action. Their College-Rock is full of twists and turns and the lyrics tell stories that reflect aspects from everyone’s own life. The fun of making music is the connecting element between the guys and their recipe for success at the same time.
They were pushing it right from the start and only one year after the band had been founded in October 2010, the 12-track album 'Games, Cheats & Fakes' came out self-distributed by the band. Several videos and a cover of 'I Like' (by Keri Hilson) promoted the release to a wider audience together with loads of intensive shows.
In spring 2013 FLASH FORWARD successfully completed the 'Home is where your heart is'-tour that took them through the whole of Germany and caught attention of Redfield Digital and their pub- lishing department Edition Redfield Records / Roba with whom they finally signed a cooperation deal for the re-release of 'Games, Cheats & Fakes' and their first album 'Apollon', which was released in the beginning of 2014 via Redfield Records.
