RISE TO THE BAIT are an upcoming metal outfit from the Baltic States, formed in 2012. The band combines multiple genres, such as post-hardcore, melodic metalcore and rock. Mixing heavy riffs with lead guitar melodies, heart-touching clean vocals with aggressive and passionate screams, the band has set the goal to create their own, unique sound and leave a trace in listeners’ hearts.

Since their first release, the debut single “I Will Take My Crown” off the EP “Nemesis” in 2013, RISE TO THE BAIT started gaining recognition not only in their home country, Latvia, but throughout the world as well. Record copies were sold to countries such as the United States, New Zealand, Germany, United Kingdom and many more.

With the release of their brand new single “Gone” RISE TO THE BAIT start the long way to create their first full-length album, to be released in Spring 2015 via Redfield Digital.

“Gone” keeps a very special message. It is a song about a close friend, Dmitry Potanakhin, who has officially been missing since November 2012. The band dedicates the song to all his friends, his family and as well to everyone who has ever experienced the pain of losing beloved one. The main message is to never give up searching and waiting, to not abandon hope.
