Leicester brutes SURRENDER THE COAST are back with their no-nonsense mini-album “Lost Souls”. Treading the unrefined lines between metal, punk, and hardcore, SURRENDER THE COAST serve up a savage helping of riffs, throat-ripping double vocals and a no-fucks-given attitude.

Having actively toiled up and down the country since their first releases, the EP “Breaking Morals, Losing Moral” in 2012 and double a-side “The Devil You Know / Conscience” in 2013, SURRENDER THE COAST have built themselves a reputation based upon a blistering live show and a tour-first ethos. The band’s hard work clearly hasn't gone unnoticed as Kerrang! Radio’s Alex baker described them as "absolutely savage and just absolutely awesome". Following the success that led SURRENDER THE COAST to Download 2013 as well as playing alongside FEED THE RHINO, HEIGHTS and FLOOD OF RED, the band races through the unrelenting “Lost Souls”. Simple principles, well done – this is back to basics heavy music, where strong songwriting and kickass guitarwork combine to create a monstrous beast of a mini-album.

The soundtrack to your anger, “Lost Souls” does as the name suggests. Keep your ears out for the vicious eponymous song (and the eerily beautiful accompanying video), or the unsettling, creeping aggression of “Thrones”. This is a mini-album full of bilious rage, and not without justification – like all great heavy albums, this a release with a message, of self-reliance, individuality, and non-conformance.

“Lost Souls” was produced by Jamie Ward (MAYBESHEWILL, TIDES FROM NEBULA) and for the release on February 22, 2015 SURRENDER THE COAST have teamed up with German heavyweights Redfield Digital, a sub-division of Redfield Records.
