FINAL STORY is one of the bands that are constantly in search for the bigtime songs. The five guys from Switzerland would never be satisfied with a half-hearted output, which was impressively proven on their debut album “Carpathia” (2015). Catchy melodies, rock-hard breakdowns paired up with the courage to sometimes strike a more quiet tone. This courage is also demonstrated on their newest work ‘Recreation (Acoustic)’. The EP includes six familiar songs that FINAL STORY clothe in an exceptional new appearance. The result is sounding pure, passionate and immediate.
On ‘Recreation (Acoustic)’ there are no compromises and despite the reduced preconditions no time or effort were avoided. With the single ‘Stars’ it remains quite obvious where FINAL STORY are headed to – the very top, no matter how stony the roads gets. The final pages of the story are still about to be written.
After the debut-EP ‘Hopefully This Will End Well’ (2012) FINAL STORY earned their spurs on numerous live shows. They hit the stage in and outside Switzerland together with national and international big names like OF MICE & MEN, BLESSTHEFALL, ELUVEITIE and BREAKDOWN OF SANITY. 2016 followed with another highlight in the band history: a slot on the Greenfield festival. On this occasion, they were able to convince the promoters of themselves to the extent that they decided to put FINAL STORY on their self-initiated club tour through Switzerland in 2017.
With an exceptional voice and ingenious song-writing FINAL STORY are meanwhile working for half a century to reach their limits and go far beyond them. The next pages of FINAL STORY will be opened and they hold ready many new and exciting chapters.
